Book Beginnings:
I was waiting for the other combat boot to drop.
My life in Dullsville had turned perfectly exciting. I was living the nightmare I’d always dreamed of — I was in love with a gorgeous vampire, and I had fabulous Underworldly friends a hauntingly gothic nightclub where I could dance until dawn. The only thing I was missing was being an actual member of the Coffin Club — by becoming a real vampire.
Friday 56:
“Let’s go inside,” Alexander said. “I’m sure you’re hungry.”
“Awesome! I can’t wait for a smoothie with cherries and a purple sword!” Stormy exclaimed.
“Of course, Miss Athena,” the Creepy Man said with a toothy smile.
Stormy raced into the Mansion. “Here I am!” she declared to the empty foyer.

My Book Beginnings
Haven’t heard of this series before. Love that cover. The beginning really pulls you in, and the 56 I LOL’d.

The book’s beginning made me wonder — is this character a vampire groupie? And the “toothy smile” in the Friday 56 dialogue made me ask — is the creepy man a vampire? This sounds like an entertaining story.
